Yes,I have international friend, my family was her hostfamily.
If her family member would die, I will write a letter "I'm sorry to hear what happened. Please try not to get depressed."

I've never been to a foreign funeral, but I've visited my hostfamily's relaton's grave.

I think many Japanese people judge only an appearance. If a person wear unusual clothes, many people stare at a person, and people think that "That person is strange."
They don't understand a person's inside.
I was sometiimes stared, so I hate this idea.

Hello! When you visited your hostfamily's relation's grave, what does it look like? is there any stone on a ground? where is the grave park at? I saw a grave park in a college in Ohio in America and it made me surprised! If you remember about them, please let me know.
